After returning to in-person competition last year, the Evolution Championship Series is once again headed to Las Vegas this summer, with the lineup of featured games for Evo 2023 now officially revealed.

The event will feature eight fighting games on its main stage, with each game’s Top 6–a change from previous years’ Top 6–featuring during each game’s time in the spotlight. All eight official Evo tournaments will also sport a $25,000 prize pool, with $10,500 of that going to first place.

Street Fighter 6 makes its first appearance at Evo this year as the headline game, joining last year’s main event Guilty Gear Strive and other returning games Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Tekken 7, and The King of Fighters XV. Evo 2023 will also feature the first ever Evo Throwback Tournament–with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 selected as the first-ever throwback game–as well as a special prerelease tournament for Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, which launches later in 2023.

The full Evo 2023 lineup is as follows:

  • Street Fighter 6 (1st appearance)
  • Guilty Gear Strive (2nd appearance)
  • Dragon Ball FighterZ (4th appearance)
  • Tekken 7 (7th appearance)
  • King of Fighters XV (2nd appearance)
  • Melty Blood: Type Lumina (2nd appearance)
  • Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate (3rd appearance)
  • Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (8th appearance, first annual Evo Throwback Tournament)

Evo 2023 runs August 4-6 from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Signups for each tournament are available at the official Evo website.
