New Delhi: India, who reached the semis by winning the must-win match against Ireland, is set to face mighty Australia in the semi-finals. Australia has been unbeaten throughout the tournament till now and has been quite invincible in T20Is in the last one year. However, India has been the only team that has been able to challenge the Aussies and even break their winning streak.

The Indian team will depend a lot on their experienced campaigners Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur. Mandhana is also India’s highest scorer in the tournament so far and is in the red-hot form currently. In the batting department, Richa Ghosh, who was the catalyst in breaking Australia’s winning streak, will be the most crucial player due to her acceleration skills.

With Renuka Thakur back in touch, India would need Deepti Sharma to be at her best while facing the likes of Beth Mooney, Ellyse Perry and Ashleigh Gardner.
