
Jacksonville Jaguars’ wide receiver Calvin Ridley has applied for reinstatement to the NFL according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Ridley, 28, was suspended in November of 2021 for one season for gambling on NFL games while he was injured. The wide receiver has played four NFL seasons, all with the Atlanta Falcons, notching 248 receptions 3,342 yards and 28 touchdowns. During his suspension, he was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
If cleared to play, Ridley will join a Jaguars’ team that won the AFC South with a 9-8 record. They won one playoff game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
